In the heart of Paris, Hôtel de la Marine has been a grand bystander to over 250 years of history in France's storied capital.
An iconic monument on Place de la Concorde, built by royal architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel back in the late 18th century, it once housed priceless royal art & furniture, before becoming the headquarters of France’s navy ministry for most of its life.
Only opened in 2021, you can now take a self-guided tour of this valuable cultural monument, exploring the stately reception rooms and taking in ornate fittings, exceptional chandeliers, and grandiose lounges with the aid of an audio guide.
Please note that suitcases, large-capacity bags and strollers are forbidden
. On July 2nd, the Hôtel de la Marine closes at 18.30 PM. The last access to the Al Thani Collection is at 16:00
