Overview
Sloth Encounter: Ages 8 and up can participate. Have you ever had the chance to take a #SLOTHIE? If not, this is a must-do while visiting Wild Florida. Come inside our South American exhibit and get up close and personal with our Two-Toed Sloths! Don’t be surprised to see some tropical birds or iguanas while you are taking selfies with sloth either! Sloth encounters are limited to only 10 guests per encounter time.
Porcupine Encounter: Ages 8 and up can participate. Did you know that porcupines don’t shoot their quills? Come hang out with Stella and Safari our African Crested porcupines. We may be a little biased but they may just be the cutest rodents you ever met! In their exhibit you will also get to meet African Sulcata tortoises and African native birds.
Ring Tail Lemur Encounter: Ages 12 and up can participate. Do you like to Move it, Move it? Book now for the chance to meet one of the most endangered species on the planet, the Ring Tail Lemur from Madagascar. These highly social primates are very likely to put a smile on anyone’s face as you get the chance to get up close and personal with them. Lemur encounters are limited to only 4 guests per encounter time.
Keep in mind that all of our animal encounters include admission to our Gator Park, meaning… the adventure doesn’t stop after your animal encounter ends!

At Wild Florida, we offer a variety of unique animal encounters inside our Gator Park that allow you to get up close and personal with our animals inside their exhibit. All of our animal encounters have unique activities that cater to the animals’ natural behavior and help keep their mind stimulated. During our animal encounters, you will be accompanied by one of our animal care team members and have a chance to feed and perform an enrichment activity.
